Vanessa is a senior at UHWO majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Facilities Management and Disaster Preparedness & Emergency Management.  She grew up in Pearl City, has two grown children and three grandchildren. She is married and lives with her husband in the Salt Lake area. Vanessa has worked in the Facilities & Biomedical Engineering Department at The Queen's Medical Center for the past 23 years and finds it to be a challenging and exciting profession. She was very excited when UHWO implemented the new FMGT program in 2015, so she decided to return to school to pursue her studies to build her career in this growing field.
